further down this same path, -year:2005- daft punk released an album, named it human after all, and that's where this success story takes a turn. the album did not meet expectations. the duo created the entire album in just 6 weeks, but that wasn't enough to please the masses. was daft punk lucky their first two times? did they lose it?

answer: no.

in 2007 daft punk showed up to their hometown of paris, and played a set dressed in the signature robot suits atop a lighted pyramid. they used material from discovery, human after all, and a tad from homework. this live mix not only showcases their talent, but also the quality and genius of their art. the set was recorded, named daft punk: alive 2007, and has been shaking since.

after work, we hit up our local watering hole only to find out that it had undergone a metamorphosis and was now a sno cone hole. needless to say, we took advantage.

loss of phone

a few weeks ago, i lost my phone (5/16). it was a friday, at night.

no, you did not just read a typo. more than four weeks ago i lost the use of my beloved iphone. i was on the way to the bathroom, and i got a text message. so i pulled out the phone and was reading the message. at that moment, i watched my phone fall in slow motion towards the porcelain bowl. splash.

with nothing to take pictures while on the go and email them to blogger or my yelp queue, i had hit a blogging/yelping wall. my online presence had all but fallen off the face of the earth.

well i'm back, and i'm ready for action. i've got a loaner phone in hand (which allows me to post) and i've got an agenda to snag up one of those hot and sexy 3G iphones that will be coming to shelves early july.
