adam turns 27!!
we hung in SD for a bit, and adam turned 27. mom made a cake and adam made some wishes. i remember back when we were kids, either of my sibling's birthdays felt like my own birthday. party, cake, friends, usually some theme (i think i had 'the hulk' themed plates/napkins/cups one year.
things are still the same, but i'm just lucky to be around when my brother's birthday hits (and we don't have themed cups/plates/napkins anymore).

fishing in la jolla
whenever i come down to san diego, a few hours of fishing in la jolla must be in order. this time we went to a new spot where you have to first catch a small fish in order to then catch a bigger one (using the small as bait!). we caught bait, and of course have a few fish stories... "the one that got away was this big".

Sierra gmail and seinfield
the great thing about being on vacation is the fact that you can chat online with working friends, while drinking beer and watching seinfeld duke it out with newman (his nemesis). too bad it's cloudy here in san diego, which san francisco enjoys sun and heat. i'm just not the lucky guy when it comes to weather.

Vacation agenda
When we cruise to sd as a family, there's plenty of things to do:
go to the movies, hang by the pool drinking wine, work in the garden, teach younger sisters to drive manual transmission cars, or even hit up the local michael's
craft store for some real crazy entertainment!
we do things pretty crazily, ever been to a Crybaby Matinee? it's where new mom's take the babies and don't get flack for breastfeeding, crying babies, or any other baby-initiated annoyance that may happen in a movie theater.
get smart was a fun movie.

daft punk alive 2007
years later (2001) they released another album, named it discovery, and it was so hot that the map caught aflame.
further down this same path, -year:2005- daft punk released an album, named it human after all, and that's where this success story takes a turn. the album did not meet expectations. the duo created the entire album in just 6 weeks, but that wasn't enough to please the masses. was daft punk lucky their first two times? did they lose it?
answer: no.
in 2007 daft punk showed up to their hometown of paris, and played a set dressed in the signature robot suits atop a lighted pyramid. they used material from discovery, human after all, and a tad from homework. this live mix not only showcases their talent, but also the quality and genius of their art. the set was recorded, named daft punk: alive 2007, and has been shaking since.
do what you need to do to get your hands on this masterpiece. daft punk owns electronic music for a reason, alive 2007 is a solid example why.
